A well established biotech company is building out a new sales and marketing team to support specialty products for the hospital market. The Clinical Specialist contributes to achieving national sales goals by effectively implementing marketing strategies and sales plans in assigned territory. The Clinical Specialists excels at providing current, accurate, and meaningful product information to health care professionals while cultivating long term relationships.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
*Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets
*Develops robust territory business plans
*Develops strong and long-term relationships with customers in all assigned accounts
*Provide education about assigned brands in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
*Monitors operating costs and compliance with territory budget
*Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of professional pharmaceutical sales representatives
*Business travel, by air or car, is regularly required
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have at least a Bachelor`s Degree, coupled with at least 3-5 years of Pharmaceutical/Medical sales experience. Candidates must have a valid driver`s license issued in one of the 50 States and a clean driving record. Ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel is required. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with sales experience in a hospital transplant centers and securing formulary approvals for a product. Candidates with documented sales awards and achievements are also preferred. Preference will be given to candidates living within 30 miles of the posted geography.
