Summary:
The Quality Assurance Lead will be held responsible for solving an array of quality-related issues, processes, operations, improvement projects and initiatives, results and outcome. The position will bear responsibility for creating an approach to quality within our organization.
Responsibilities:
-Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations related to quality control and assurance.
-Develop, maintain, execute tests and regression tests of a variety of strategy, creative, and technology deliverables including user interface and user experience. Many deliverables are Flash-based.
-Design of proper acceptance criteria and documentation such as test plans.
-Develop and implement quality policies, standards and procedures for the technical, design and other work performed for clients.
-Assign, co-ordinate and review quality assurance of deliverables created by on-shore and off-shore project teams; manage network QA resources located in the US and overseas.
-Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain test plans, and present and prioritize findings.
-Review process deliverables during design phase of projects.
-Develop process for text quality assurance (proofreading), working with internal traditional proofreading department.
-Develop communications, education and training in order to evolve a company-wide mandate for Quality Assurance in all manner of client programs.
-Advocate, train, and lead internal staff in quality processes.
-While not responsible for stress, load, security and other back-end tests, must be able to identify need to develop such tests for deliverables in progress and appropriate outsourcing.
Qualifications:
-Two or more years in digital advertising including hands-on testing of banners, rich media, micro-site, and other website deliverables
-Active use of Jira or other web-based QA software in previous positions
-Prior project management experience a plus
-Excellent analysis/problem solving skills, negotiation/influence skills and general knowledge of change control management processes.
-Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation and self-management.
-Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic test / team environment.
