As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect at Axway, you will serve as the pre-sales technical expert to our Account Executives as we deliver innovative software and services to high profile clients in the financial services and federal government verticals. Currently, we have two Pre-sales Solution Architect positions available, one for the financial services vertical and one for federal government clients. Both openings are available as work from home positions in the northeastern U.S. (preferably New York Metropolitan or Greater Washington/DC area).
As a vital member of the sales team, you will be the primary technical contact for prospective accounts, providing pre-sales support to our Account Executives and our customers throughout North America. This will require you to spend approximately 50% of your time on business travel, primarily local to your region, but occasionally elsewhere within the U.S. and Canada. Drawing from your previous experience in a pre-sales role for an enterprise software company and your strong understanding of how to build unique solutions based on client needs, you be involved in the sales process from very early in the process, from helping with presentations to responding to RFPs.You`ll be responsible for defining and clearly articulating Axway’s solutions within the context of the customer’s environment and leading the technical portion of the sale. Key to your success in this role will be your balanced and well-rounded background in both business and technology. Your understanding of business collaboration / integration systems, knowledge of managed file transfer and communication protocols and general IT infrastructure knowledge will give you the fundamental background required from a technical standpoint. Your understanding of how to match technology to business needs, strong communication and presentations skills will round out your skill set for success.
