Equinox Fitness Clubs, the premier fitness company in the industry, is looking for a qualified Licensed Massage Therapist to join an atmosphere defined by energy and professionalism. We operate upscale, full-service fitness facilities in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Boston. We offer an integrated selection of Equinox-branded programs, services and products, including strength and cardio training, group fitness classes, personal training, spa services, apparel and food/juice bars.
We are looking for an energetic, creative, enthusiastic Licensed Massage Therapist to join the Equinox team at our clubs in NYC! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Analyze, consult and perform massage treatments in a professional and comfortable setting
• Direct all efforts towards member satisfaction
• Perform 50 and 80-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages
• Ensure that the room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Availability of at least 3 shifts a week
The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:
• Must possess a valid New York State massage therapy license
• A Licensed Massage Therapist willing to develop a practice within our corporation while developing their own skills and knowledge
• Cross trained in multiple services including Stone massage, pre-natal and reflexology is highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
