Painting Engineer
Shine Electronics is a fast growing cellular telecommunication company with 250+ employees in NYC area. Our location is easily accessed by various subway lines and major highways.
Currently we have immediate opening for experienced Painting Engineer, who has experience with spray paint plastic surfaces, skill of color matching, and knowledge to NYS related regulation.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze and research product material and their related fabrication and application process to apply proper spray paint technique and procedure to accomplish desired result
· Apply color-matching skill to ensure accurate and consistent color as original sample
· Operate color-matching equipment to improve painting procedure
· Improve process to improve productivity and quality
· Decrease material cost by applying proper paints and thinner
· Identify the needs and maintain painting facilities and tools, and equipments
· Control QA related manual, reports, and documentations
· Update and comply with government related regulations
· Set up dangerous/hazard materials handle program for the chemicals used during painting to maintain safety in the working environment
· Train new hired painters
Requirements:
· 2-3 years of previous experience in spray painting and color matching
· Knowledge of quality management
· Familiar with related Hazard materials control program and regulation
