This small team of architects and consultants working primarily in the environmental sector designing buildings which have the minimum impact possible on the surrounding environment and community.
A busy practice, they are now looking for a Building Services Engineer with an understanding of environmental building design. You will be working on designs for educational projects incorporating solar gain, daylighting, natural ventilation and air tightness into your designs. Renewable energy sources also factor highly into their work and this company strive to offer the optimum renewable energy solution for each project.
Recent projects include healthy living centres and a variety of outdoor centres for educational purposes. They have also worked on a pilot scheme for environmentally and ecologically friendly industrial units.
Dedicated to designing buildings which are environmentally friendly, this practice prides itself on their key principles which are applied to their designs. These include the minimisation of waste during the construction process, low energy consumption, water conservation and low noise and atmospheric pollution. These principles also extend to concerns about the community and they look to enhance the local economy and community if possible.
Located away from the centre of Leeds, this office is based in an old vicarage and has parking.
