Technical Architect - real time software
Technical Architect with a minimum of 5 years experience, required for premier solutions provider to the bookmaking marketplace in Guildford. You will currently be working in a C++ under Windows environment, with experience and understanding of real time software and the issues involved, and be able to produce reliable real-time data processing intensive applications (services, multi-threading, process intercommunication, etc). You must also have an in-depth knowledge of NT*2000*XP System Architecture and Communications, experience of SQL Server 6.5 and 2000 with a good in-depth understanding of SQL architecture, and experience with network protocols such as TCP*IP and UDP. You will be designing technologically sound architectures to meet proposed business needs using industry accepted best practice, and deconstructing overall architecture to produce modular and easily maintained software systems. Good structured analytical skills and a problem solving aptitude essential. Ideally you will also have a good degree in a relevant subject, and be a Microsoft Certified Developer (MSCD). Team leading experience also an advantage. Salary up to £50k pa depending on experience. Only candidates local to Guildford need apply.
