A leading organisation is seeking a principal hydrologist to lead a group of hydrogeologists & environmental scientists, providing and developing hydrogeological services to clients and regional offices.
Applicants should possess in-depth hydrogeological knowledge, particularly in the area of Groundwater Risk Assessment for IPPC applications. They must also be accomplished in dealing with the wide range of hydrogeological issues that arise, inter alia, in landfilling, mining and quarrying environments, environmental impact assessments, and groundwater*contaminated land remediation.
Experience of LandSim computer modelling is essential and experience in surface water hydrology & water treatment would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will be a leader and possess excellent report writing skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and at all levels, both internally and externally to clients and regulatory authorities.
