A Project Officer is urgently required to work within the Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Division of our local authority client.
You will be undertaking site visits to assess*investigate antisocial behaviour (ASB) complaints, establishing whether the environment is contributing to the ASB activities - eliciting all necessary information whilst building a trusting relationship with communities. You may be required to act as a professional witness where needed.
Additional visits to schools, public and council meetings, mosques, temples etc to promote the division will also be required.
The successful candidate will have: • previous experience of working within the community and interviewing members of the public • completing interview reports and responding to enquiries • excellent communication skills (bilingual candidates would be of particular interest) • a full, clean driving licence although owning a car is not essential
